Our talented doctors conduct myriad surgeries in our clinic, including spays, neuters, dental cleanings, mass removals, and many other soft-tissue procedures. We contract with board-certified specialists who conduct complex and orthopedic sugeries in our clinic.
RADIOGRAPHY
Our clinic is equipped with state of the art full-body x-rays, allowing us to better diagnose and treat illnesses.

We have a modern veterinary laboratory in-house, and we can deliver results in 30 minutes for blood, urine, and fecal tests.

Dr. Jones is a Bloomington native who is thrilled with the opportunity to serve pets in her hometown.
Dr. Lauren Lehtinen
DVM, Owner
Dr. Lehtinen joined Nova in 2018, and has been an owner since 2024. She has many pets, and treats her patients like they’re her own.
Dr. Emily Flick
DVM
Dr. Flick joined Nova in 2023. She enjoys surgery and strives to provide the most compassionate care to every one of her patients.
Dr. Dani Schwartzman
DVM
Dr. Schwartzman has been practicing since 2014, with focus on dermatology, endocrinology, and preventative medicine. ¡Ella habla español!

Veterinary Technician
A technician since 2014, Andi is a leader in our clinic and provides exceptional care to our clients.
Thea
Practice Manager
Thea has been a tech since 1999 and has a vast array of experience, from general practice to ER medicine, and has a special interest in feline care.
Lori
Veterinary Technician
Lori may be new to Nova, but not to the members of our team and our clients. Her experience is the deepest in the cities — bar none!
Shannon
Certified Veterinary Technician
Shannon joins us fresh from Wisconsin! When she’s not taking care of her own cats, you can find her reading or rock climbing.

Certified Veterinary Technician
Jen has been a technician since 2005. She is a great surgery technician and has a special interest in veterinary ophthalmology.

Veterinary Assistant
Julia has been an assistant since 2018 and has a special interest in caring for senior animals.

Veterinary Assistant
Kayla is a crafty veteran at caring for pets and their owners.
Patricia
Veterinary Assistant
Patricia is from Long Island, New York and comes from a large family. She’s excited to continue learning at Nova.

Shayna is a caring and kind “people person” and has four cats of her own.

Marta is a corgi enthusiast, an avid butterfly raiser, and enjoys spending time in nature with her husband.
